High schoolers are welcome to submit a short application for consideration; finalists will be invited to interview. Youth Neighborhood Advocates

Want to speak up for your community? Join Youth Neighborhood Advocates, a hands-on leadership program where you’ll meet decision makers, represent youth voices in Lower Manhattan, and learn how change happens in New York City. Over ten weeks of learning, leadership development, and real engagement with government and community partners, students will gain civic literacy and firsthand experience in public decision-making. Journalism Fellows with the Broadsheet
Thursdays, March 12-June 4

Join Trinity Youth Afterschool and The Broadsheet to learn the core principles of journalism and the power of storytelling. Fellows will build their skills by reporting on the Lower Manhattan communities they know best — their schools, Afterschool groups, and their own neighborhoods. Students will work alongside Broadsheet staff and have the opportunity to be published in Lower Manhattan's local newspaper. Fellows will receive a stipend. Questions?
