Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Yein Kim: “God’s Word Gives Life”

“When God speaks, things happen,” preaches the Rev. Yein Kim. “God’s word has power; God’s word creates; God’s word gives life.” On the Feast of Creation in Christ, we remember Jesus’s role in the making of the universe and his ongoing work to restore all things. Designed to inspire a broader and deeper commitment to protecting the environment, this new liturgical observance reminds us that everyone is invited to participate in God’s healing, creative, and life-giving work.
