Jazz Icons: Cécile McLorin Salvant with Glenn Zaleski
Propelled by musicians who have long transformed tradition into something wholly unique, jazz is this country’s original art form, and Grammy-winning artist Cécile McLorin Salvant is defining the future of American sound. This creative visionary brings her musical imagination to a performance that weaves jazz, blues, cabaret, and baroque with her own compositions, through which she explores narrative power dynamics and folklore. Salvant will be collaborating with Glenn Zaleski, a pianist known for his stylistic versatility and refined touch.
