Legacy of Steve Reich: We Are All Travelers
Trinity Choir, NOVUS, and Sandbox Percussion; Melissa Attebury, conductor

Event Series/Instance -- Event Description
This stunning program shines a light on several contemporary composers who are expanding on the ancient musical tradition of lifting up the outsider — exploring the idea that to travel is to live in the tension between vulnerability and protection. Here Steve Reich’s Traveler’s Prayer, Caroline Shaw’s To the Hands, Michi Wiancko’s Lullaby for the Transient, and David Lang’s the national anthems are performed by Trinity Choir, NOVUS, and Sandbox Percussion; Melissa Attebury, conductor.
Registration for this free event is highly recommended as seating is limited.
We suggest arriving 45 minutes before start time. Admission is first-come, first-served, with ticket holders receiving priority (although not guaranteed entrance if the venue reaches capacity).
