Compline by Candlelight
30 minutes of music and reflection to close your day
Event Series/Instance -- Event Description
Experience the beauty and stillness of Compline — a service of evening prayers passed to us through the centuries and sung by Trinity Choir.
This week’s special Compline is centered around To the Hands by Caroline Shaw, a meditative reflection on our responsibility to those who are displaced and vulnerable. Moving from anguish to tenderness, the luminous piece concludes with a vow: Ever will I hold you, ever will I enfold you.
Come and find comfort in our connection to the divine and one another as we end the day.
Please note: This fall, Compline by Candlelight services will be held in Trinity Church.
